FLORMART CITY FORUM, THE DIGITAL EVENT IS ON THE STARTING LINE: TWO DAYS TO OUTLINE THE FUTURE OF GREEN

30 November 2020

Imagining and building a new balance between man and nature: this is the future of the world of green in the post-Covid city. There’s only one day to go until the beginning of Flormart 2020 City Forum, the special digital event dedicated to urban green spaces and green technology, targeted at companies, experts and public administration representatives and scheduled for Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December 2020.

The event will take place online on the innovative Fiera di Padova digital platform (link to register). At the heart of Flormart City Forum there will be conferences, B2B business meetups and a virtual exhibition area dedicated to green sector companies, green technologies and street furniture. There will be three main appointments: ECOtechGREEN Active, the international forum dedicated to green technology and green infrastructure; business meetups on the Flormart GPP LAB Green Public Procurement platform; and finally, an online conference dedicated to medicinal and aromatic plants organised by Erbaleforum. Plus, The Landscape Festival: to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Council of Europe’s European Landscape Convention, this cultural initiative sets out to promote reflection on the relationship between landscape and sustainable development. The event consists of a workshop, a reading of words and music by actor and playwright Andrea Pennacchi, and a digital photographic exhibition.

The Flormart community will be able to meet again for the two days of events thanks to the Fiera di Padova online platform, a fully configurable tool offering exhibitors innovative ways of matching supply and demand, virtual exhibition spaces and a chance to take part in the conferences and seminars scheduled during the two days, compiling their own personalised programme of meetings and webinars. Visitors and green supply chain operators will thus be able to easily and intuitively interact with all the exhibitors present and take part in the programme of events.

The Forum also provides an opportunity to preview the results of the Flormart Green City Report survey, the third appointment of the periodic survey carried out by Fiera di Padova in partnership with the specialised company GRS Research & Strategy and conceived to monitor the performance of companies in the horticultural sector, examining their needs and exploring future scenarios. There is still time to take part in the questionnaire by visiting this link.
