On the occasion of Orticola 2024, the prestigious “Orticola – iO Donna” award (which celebrates the green and the action of preserving and saving our territory) was given to Silvia Arnaud Ricci, for her commitment, with the work done at Villa della Pergola in Alassio, to restore important sections of the landscape and historical heritage of our country.

An important achievement that is the result of meticulous recovery work born from a ‘love for the territory combined with an admirable spirit of patronage and historical research. Because of a real rescue is the one put in place by Silvia Arnaud Ricci and her husband Antonio Ricci both historians and art lovers, who purchased Villa La Pergola and its gardens to save them from building speculation and consequent cementification.
