Next June 12, 2024, in Naples, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the opening of the 5th edition of the Green Med Symposium – Mostra d’Oltremare – Viale John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 54 – Confagricoltura and Assoverde, with KÈPOS Aps, are organizing the Conference entitled: “Green & Blue: the colors of the future city,” in collaboration with CREA, Professional Orders and Colleges.

The Green White Paper is now into its third edition, with the specialized focus on “Water, an indispensable resource for the health of the planet.” There are more than 50 technical-scientific contributions and 88 authors who, with specialized skills and from different points of view, have enhanced this edition, with valuable contributions, testimonies, proposals and concrete solutions in the face of the worrisome phenomena underway: climate change, droughts, desertification and erosion processes, rising temperatures and, at the same time, intense rainfall and flooding phenomena, alteration of waterways. Extreme weather conditions that require a rethinking of city planning and governance models, targeted policies and strategies, new types of design and intervention, selection of suitable tree species, along with appropriate professional, multi and interdisciplinary skills, timely and innovative green maintenance and care techniques and technologies.
