November 30, 2024 will mark 100 years since the birth of the Order of Agronomists and Foresters. In fact, on November 30, 1924, at the request of King Victor Emmanuel III, Royal Decree No. 2172 added that of agronomist and forestry expert to the table of professions for which it is necessary to pass the state examination.

To celebrate our first century of professional life, in the presence of the highest offices of the state, we have organized a day dedicated to our professional figure, which in this century has been at the center of the evolution of a country with an immense agri-food and forestry heritage, with speeches by academics from the Georgofili, a round table discussion and the story of the profession through relevant experiences.

The celebration will take place Thursday, November 28, starting at 10 a.m. in the halls of Palazzo Valentini in Rome.
